Cube began as a small team obsessed with one question: What if every decision inside a business could be backed by measurable truth? Everything downstream — color, type, motion — takes its cue from that same honesty. Nothing in this system is decorative if it doesn't also describe how the product works.
Navy carries the weight of the hardware — precise, a little serious, built to last on a shelf for years.
Ember stands in for the device's light source — the one spot of heat in an otherwise cool, quiet object.
Sprout is used sparingly — only where something is new, alive, or in progress. It is a status, not a background color.
The primary lockup pairs the hexagon mark with the wordmark at a fixed ratio. Use the full lockup whenever there's room; the mark alone is reserved for small or square placements — app icons, favicons, packaging caps.
Clearspace & minimum size
Keep clear space equal to the height of the sprout chip inside the mark (call it X) on every side of the lockup. Never let text, edges, or photography enter that margin. Below 24px icon height, drop the wordmark and use the mark alone.
