BUILD PHASE

Developing web content involves shaping and negotiating meaning and making many choices involving technical, aesthetic, and usability concerns… as technical communicators know, developing information requires keen skills in planning, analysis, and design in addition to web-oriented skills in representing information in a particular medium.

In order to develop a broader perspective of web, I can draw on many existing concepts from technical communication and tried and true practices.

The challenge of what tool, language, technique and platform will greatly depend on the user experience, user need, and budget and back-end requirements.

I am extremely familiar with the latest tools of the trade such as: Flash, Flex, XML, XHTML, CSS, Javascript, Ajax, PHP, script.aculo.us and Ruby on Rails. Keeping up with the latest technology and tools I can provide direction and knowledge to give flight to a site’s success.

My core competency for this phase have been as a Front End Developer.
